    Dr. Cara Berg Powers, EdD

    Cara is passionate about using arts and culture to help people reimagine and reshape the world. In addition to her work at TCP, Cara serves the community through several Boards and Committees. She is Vice Chair of the Human Rights Commission in her hometown of Worcester, MA where she resides with her husband and daughter and plays Roller Derby as Surely Chis'l.

    Ali Pinschmidt

    Alexandra Pinschmidt is a filmmaker and educator, and works to amplify the perspectives of others through video training and outreach, and oversees all of our Western, MA programming. Ali holds a Master’s in International Development and Social Change from Clark University, where she later taught Video for Social Change. Ali has worked with several nonprofits in the fields of education, poverty alleviation, and direct service with homeless populations.

    Reggie Williams

    A Boston native, Reggie began his journey to build a better society through media at age 15 after getting hired for his first job by our Executive Director Cara. After attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, Reggie returned to Boston and has deepened his commitment to working at the intersections of Public Health and Media. He also currently serves our community as a Funding Panel member at Haymarket People's Fund among other service roles.

    Matthew Feener

    As a professional filmmaker, Matt has worked to better document and share the stories of his community since a young age. After graduating from The Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Matt returned to Lynn and joined the staff of Real to Reel, a non-profit film school using media as the canvas for creative expression which helped him get his start. At TCP, Matt ensures the quality and community accountability of our content, as well as overseeing curriculum and direction of our youth serving programs.

    Amy Melena

    Amy currently oversees our Beyond Creative Program and is teaching an “Unhidden Figures” and community gardening initiative at Timilty Middle School. She also has spent time in Chile and Puerto Rico researching the effects of community development organizations in indigenous communities, and the impacts of tourism on community. Highly dedicated to youth development and mentorship, Amy has worked in various camp and youth programming settings in both Central Ohio and New York City.

    Letia Larok

    In 2002, a contest in Franklin Park landed Letia on BET's 106 and Park as Freestyle Friday champion for four weeks in a row, following it up on Showtime at the Apollo. Letia has won Best Female Artist from the New England Music Awards and the Mass Industry Committee (MIC). She brings her passion for storytelling an healing through music into the classroom and as our Program Coordinator for Creative Classrooms, connects other artists to the opportunity to share their gifts with the next generation!

    Priya Dadlani

    Priya Dadlani is currently completing her studies at BU, where she'll be receiving a B.A. in Journalism and a B.S. in International Relations with a focus in the Middle East and Cultural Anthropology in May 2017. At Boston University she is a staff writer for their campus magazine The BU Buzz and the Boston Political Review. Her love of journalism and writing comes from a deeper love of meeting people and sharing their stories for the rest of the world to hear. After spending a summer with us her Sophomore year, she's back, helping to make sure others can have the same opportunity!
