#AssembleBos is our signature events calender aimed at reducing silos and bringing diverse people together in authentic ways. Through our #AssembleBos programs, we convene over 20,000 people a year through our in person events
Our flagship #AssembleBos program was established in 2011 in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts. Juneteenth brings our communities of color out to a primarily white establishment in celebration of the oldest black holiday in the United States. In 5 years, we’ve grown to taking over the entire museum for the event and it’s become the MFA’s largest community partner night. This year’s Juneteenth drew out over 4,000 people by the end of the night and connected over 40 different local cultural organizations and community sponsors to our audience.
Over the past 5 years, Juneteenth has been covered by major outlets like WBUR, Boston Magazine, Metro Boston and more.
